2. Data we collect
Court Piece collects the following categories of data:
Data you provide
- Display name: chosen when creating a game profile.
- Avatar selection: your selected in-game avatar.
Data collected automatically
- Device identifiers: advertising ID (IDFA on iOS, GAID on Android) used by our advertising partner Google AdMob to serve ads.
- IP address: collected by AdMob and our servers for geolocation and fraud prevention.
- App usage data: game sessions, feature usage, crash logs — used to improve app stability and performance.
- Device information: OS version, device model, screen resolution — used for compatibility and debugging.
We do not collect your real name, email address, phone number, payment information, or precise location.
3. Advertising — Google AdMob
Court Piece uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may collect and use your advertising ID and other device data to show you personalised or non-personalised ads depending on your consent preferences.
AdMob's data practices are governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
You can opt out of personalised advertising at any time:
- iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking → disable "Allow Apps to Request to Track"
- Android: Settings → Google → Ads → "Delete advertising ID" or opt out of ads personalisation
4. Virtual coins
Court Piece includes a virtual coins system. Virtual coins are used exclusively within the app for gameplay purposes and have no real-world monetary value. They cannot be exchanged for real currency, goods, or services. No real-money transactions occur within the app.
5. How we use your data
We use data to:
- Operate and deliver the game experience.
- Display advertisements via Google AdMob.
- Diagnose crashes and improve app performance.
- Prevent cheating and abuse.
- Comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
6. Data sharing
We share data only with:
- Google AdMob — advertising (advertising ID, device info, IP).
- Cloud infrastructure providers — for hosting game servers (game session data only).
- Legal authorities — if required by applicable law.
7. Data retention
Game profile data (display name, avatar, coins balance) is retained for as long as your account is active. App usage logs are retained for up to 90 days. You can request deletion of your data at any time by emailing [email protected].
8. Children's privacy
Court Piece is rated 13+ and is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, please contact us at [email protected] and we will promptly delete it.
The app contains simulated gambling content (virtual coins wagering) and is therefore not suitable for children.
9. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction or deletion of your data.
- Withdraw consent for personalised advertising (see Section 3).
- Lodge a complaint with a data protection authority.
